Goathland Waterfall Walk
This scenic Goathland Waterfall Walk circles around the village of Goathland, between Pickering and Whitby on the east North York Moors. Following Eller Beck and West Beck the route takes in four waterfalls including Thomason Foss at Beck Hole, the tall, popular Mallyan Spout and the lesser visited Nelly Ayre Foss, with an optional scramble down to the bank of West Beck.
Aysgarth Falls Walk to Redmire Force & Bolton Castle
Starting from the Aysgarth Falls visitor centre this walk visits the Middle and Lower Force waterfalls before heading up the River Ure to Redmire Force. The route then heads up through the village of Redmire to Castle Bolton before dropping down through countryside to Carperby and through Bear Park to visit Upper Force on the way back to the visitor centre and the start.
Hutton-le-Hole Walk to Ana Cross & Spaunton Moor
A moorland route from the pretty village of Hutton-Le-Hole walking along Hutton Ridge, then heading off to visit Ana Cross, a round-barrow tumulus & monument, before heading across narrow sheep trods over Spaunton Moor to return to Hutton-le-Hole.
Knaresborough Castle Walk by River Nidd, Gallow Hill & St. Robert’s Cave
A historic Knaresborough Castle walk, exploring the old town of Knaresborough with options to visit local attractions. The route then heads off along the Harrogate Ringway into the surrounding countryside before cutting back to the River Nidd to make a circuit around the south and west of the town.
